Are you ready for some football? Your friends at TrueGoldFriends
are. Every year one of TGF’s longest and dearest friends,
Texasdreamer, hosts our annual NFL Football Tourney. This
tourney is a little different then your normal tourney, it last
17 weeks. Your wins will be reported on our ladder. This gives
all our members a chance to remain active without getting
purged. ONE GIFT WILL BE GIVEN EACH WEEK TO THE ONE THAT
SCORES THE HIGHEST. THE PERSON WITH THE MOST WINS AT THE END OF
THE TOUR WILL RECEIVE $100 IN CASH! Just follow these few
easy steps.
• Go to Yahoo Sports to Register.
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem
• Log In by using your Yahoo ID (if you don’t have one, its free
& easy to get)
• Click on Join a Group
• Enter the Group ID# 39230 and Password tgf
• Click Join Group
• You must register with your LEAGUE NAME so we know who
you are (for example Texasdreamer1 or LuckyStaar)
• Fill in information, Save, and Continue.
• This is a 17 week tourney so if you register you should be
committed. You can make your picks early. Do not wait till last
minute in case something happens and you have to leave town,
etc. It fixed it to where our host cannot change anyone’s picks.
So it is your responsibility to make them.
• The deadline to submit your final picks is five (5)
minutes before the start of the first game of the week. For
almost all weeks, this will be 9:55 a.m. PT on Sunday, but will
change if there are Thursday or Saturday games.
• THE 1ST GAME STARTS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH AT 7:30.

Tourney Rules…
Make sure you make your pick for every game, every week. Just
click on the week you want to make your picks on and chose your
favorite teams. You can return to this page the day of the games
and it will show the score.
Choose points in case we need a tiebreaker.
• You will be assigned an opponent via email every week
• You will be emailed the wins and losses via email every week
• We will be responsible for posting your losses every week
• Tex will give one gift away to the person with the most wins
every week
• In the event of a tie…
• Closest to the total points for Monday night's game.
• Closest to the home team points for Monday night's game.
• Closest to the road team points for Monday night's game.
• Closest to the total points for Sunday night's game.
• Closest to the home team points for Sunday night's game.
• Closest to the road team points for Sunday night's game.
• Closest to the city whose team scores the most points.
• Closest to the city whose team scores the fewest points.
• Whichever member had the most points in the previous week (or
the week before that if still a tie etc), YAHOO WILL FIGURE
THIS FOR TEX. Note: There will be a few weeks that there will be
more than one winner and Yahoo will determine the winners.
• IMPORTANT: You must send your home mailing address as soon as
possible to
texasdreamer1@suddenlink.net. This is so she can snail mail
gifts out in a prompt timely fashion. Everyone is responsible
for sending their home address, even if you have sent it in the
past.
• The person with the most wins at the end of the tour will get
$100 in cash. This is provided you are still in the league and
still in the tour and not on suspension. In the event of a tie,
the money will be split evenly.
• If for any reason you have a dispute, please contact Tex. She
will try to fix the problem as soon as possible.
• Some of the gifts given in the past years were Walmart Gift
Certificates, Candles, Home Interior decorations, Sonic gift
cards, McDonalds gift cards, and many more.
Check back to the site often and visit the message board and see
who’s here. This special tourney has been proven to be loads of
fun for football fans and non football fans in the past.
