It’s beginning to look a lot like autumn. Time to take our long undies out of the closet and get ready to start our holiday shopping! LOL! So with that in mind….

TGF’S WE NEED YOUR HELP. Periodically, we review all of the games we play and delete the less popular ones. This is where you come in. If you haven’t done so already, please complete our survey to help us decide which ones we should eliminate. We realize we can’t make everyone happy but we are sure going to try. We’ve already decided to not host in Lottso Express anymore so right now we are looking to eliminate a couple more games to make room for future games. Of course we will be able to host in any game at any time all you have to do is request it and we’ll be able to set it up for you. TO ALL OUR OLD FRIENDS, we miss you and hope to see you all again soon. Check out our calendar and see the variety we have daily. If you play at least once every 3 weeks, you will remain active on our league and will not get purged for inactivity. So we invite you to come back and have some fun with some friends.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Linda (Klthome) and her hubby Ken. Ken has been ill for awhile and just found out he won’t be getting much better. However, with Chemo treatments and the TGF power of prayer, I believe he will be with us for a long time to come. Even though Ken isn’t playing, he is with us each day rocking with Jimbo. Linda would like to extend an invitation to all our friends to attend Ken’s birthday party. The party will be on November 13th at a hotel in Howell (Lansing), Michigan. If you would like more information, contact Klthome or LuckyStaar for details. Ken would love to meet everyone. He says the more the merrier, lets rock!

IS THE GAME ROOM YOU WANT TO PLAY IN FULL? A 100% sure way to get in a full room is to create a shortcut on your desktop or your documents folder. When you are in a game room, left click the IE icon at the top of the room in the address bar and drag it to your desktop. This works even when the backdoor links don’t work. To give someone else the link to the room, just left click the address bar to highlight the room address, right click to copy and paste it into yahoo so your friend can get in. Let us know if you have trouble with this and we’ll be glad to help you.

A NOTE FROM YOUR HOST… As much as we try our hardest to start our tourneys on time, sometimes it just doesn’t work out that way. We sincerely apologize for this in advance. We ask for your help in this matter to keep things moving so no one is waiting. Jumping early and being there by start time would be a great help to us and of course to your friends.

Like some of our friends here, some of our host are on tight schedules with kids, school, work etc and plan each day their tourneys around real life. Please make sure you are in the room and ready to play at the start of a tournament. This will help keep our other tourneys on schedule so we don’t fall behind. If you are more than 5 minutes late, we will be forced to remove you from the tourney. This will be added to the rules once our pages get updated so there are no misunderstandings. Thank you all so much for your cooperation.

Both stations support the leagues and visit us occasionally during play. Requests and Dedications are welcome at both stations. Make sure you tune into Jimbo at KK Radio every Wednesday and Saturday night for some of that Scottish humor that only he can give.

COMPUTER TIP OF THE MONTH!

My computer geek friend says “YOU CAN’T EXPECT TO DRIVE A CAR AND NOT TAKE IT IN FOR MAINTENANCE ONCE IN AWHILE; WELL THE COMPUTER IS THE SAME WAY”. To keep your computer running smooth, you need to maintain it on a regular basis. So we decided that every month we will feature a Computer Tip of the Month. Last month we explained how to clear Java and this month I’m going to tell you how to delete temporary files.

DELETING TEMPORARY FILES IN INTERNET EXPLORER

• Open IE
• Click Tools (top right)
• Click Internet Options
• Under the General tab go to Browsing History and click Delete
• Click Delete files, Delete cookies, and Delete history. Note, you can delete all unless you us Form Data and Password save.
• Click Close and click OK

Special Tournaments

TOC – Tournament of Champions is held 4 times a month in 4 different games. This is by invitation only to the winners of the previous month.

Peek - a – Boo – is also known as Follow the Host and is a 5 round True Swiss tourney that’s played in 5 different games.

T.G.I.F Bingo Bux – Is held every Friday for the month of October in Bingo at 8:30 am. The winner will receive 500 bux.

Badge Book Give a Way – This is a special tourney called The Weakest Link Lottso. This is a 9 round Swiss where at least one person is eliminated everyone round.

Birthday Bash – is to celebrate all our friend’s birthdays for the month. Big bux is given to the winner.

Rank Day – gives you a chance to raise the ranks fast and is on Thursdays this month.

Lucky 8 – Any tourney hosted by LuckyStaar with 8 or more players, Lucky will give 1000 bux to the winner.

Recipe of the Month

CRACKER SNAX

1 Cup Crisco Oil (Liquid)
1 Teaspoon Dill Weed
½ Teaspoon Garlic Salt or Powder
1 Package Original Ranch Salad Dressing Mix (the Add Milk kind)

Mix all together well and pour over 1 12 Ounce Package of Oyster Size Crackers. Let sit for 1 hour and enjoy. Stir occasionally.

Variations - I like to use a little less than a cup of oil. You can put in the microwave for a minute to speed up the setting process or bake. Store in the refrigerator for a fast snack anytime. You can use small premium square crackers or small pretzels. You can heat the oil before mixing in the ingredients for a better blend.
