Welcome to all our new members. We know you have a choice in league and we are so glad you chose us. We are a member's league and we listen to our members so just yell at any of our well trained staff members if you need help with anything or have any suggestions or comments.
I have so much to say I don't know where to start. This Newsletter is going to be a little bit longer than normal. Please enjoy.We have a couple surveys up on our www.truegoldfriends.com website and I'm proud to say the responses were all very pleasurable.
60% of you would like to play more Everyone Wins Bingo and we will try to host more when the room is less crowded so no one has a hard time getting in. Less than half like Bingo period!
More than half of you like Hog Heaven the most so keep checking the calendar for more Piggys!
For the most liked table games looks like Canasta and Jungle Gin tied at 28% with High Stakes Pool at 21%. So we'll try to run those more for you too.
More than half wants to see more Dice City Rollers and Lottso set so let me be the first to say "You got it"!
All of you love your host and we really love you too and you wish that we would host more. Sometimes real life gets in the way and we can't always host as much as we like but we will try our best to host more for you. Most of you said you'd like us to play more twist and gift pogo gems. The twist we can handle and when we figure out how to gift the gems, we'll do that too. We vow to make every effort to start on time. As long as we have the players ready to play before start time, we WILL start on time. We appreciate you taking the time to fill out our survey on your likes and dislikes. Congrats to Klthome on becoming a member of our Staff. Linda has been a faithful supporter for a long time now and we excited to have her. She loves her Bingo and Piggys. She's one hard to beat mama! So please come out and give her your support. We will be sharing your Yahoo ID's with her so please add her.
We are pleased to have added Yahtzee Party to our lineup of many games. This is one fun game and Pogo has made it very hard for us all to get into one room. I want to offer you some pretty good tips on how to get into a full room.
The best way that I have found is to get into a full room is to left click on the icon in the address bar and drag it to your desktop. I can almost guarantee you will get in every time even when the backdoor link says it's full. I have done this for all the rooms we play in and it works every time. The one drawback to this method is the game window might be the wrong size but this is easy to fix. Put your mouse on the edge of the game and left click and drag the border to make it the desired size. You will also have the address bar and any toolbars you might have on the top. To get rid of these temporally just right click on the top and uncheck address bar, toolbars etc.
You can also download our toolbar from our www.myleague.com/goldrush page. This has many helpful tools for you including backdoor links, our tourney calendar etc. Even though we promise you our toolbar is safe, some anti-virus and spyware programs don't like it and will delete it the first time you reboot your computer. If this happens, contact Kevin (klesage8) or Kim (LuckyStaar) and we will be glad to help you with this.
We are excited about another new addition to our league. We have added Fun Trivia to our daily line up. Go to http://my.funtrivia.com/tournament/TrueGoldFriends-88277.html and sign up using your league name. Save this link in your favorites or drag the icon to your desktop and play every day. There are 10 questions, mixed topics. You can take all the time you need to answer them. You are timed and you get points for every correct answer. When done click on the link that says "See how you compare to others" where you can see how you did. The one with the highest total of points will receive 1000 bux from me, LuckyStaar.
