Happy New Year Friends,

We hope everyone had a great holiday and we want to thank those of you
who found the time to spend with us during our slow season. We had some
great turnouts in most of our tourneys. I can't say it enough; you guys are
the best, Thank You.

Welcome new members to our growing circle of friends. We are so glad to
have you join us. If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to
contact a staff member we are always here to help.

I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our new staff members.
You all are a great asset to our family and we are most happy to have you as

Welcome Back Robzgirl! Cat has been a long time member and host with us
and decided she just missed her TrueGoldFriends too much and came back to
the place where she belongs. It's good to have you back hosting.

Congrats Typhani! Tiffany is a brand new host and has gotten off to a great
start. We wish you the best of luck and years of fun with your friends.

Congrats ImWastedAgain! Jenn is a long time meber and a brand new host
just getting started. I know you'll do a great job for your friends.

Congrats to Kay on becoming a first time Grandma to Addie and Cara. I
know you'll be a wonderful grandma. These babies are in critical condition
and desperately need your thoughts and prayers.

Our condolensces to Bccublady for the loss of her mother. Know that you
TrueGoldFriends are here for you.

Get Well wishes goes out to Nancy (nncy6349) and Gino (2q). We hope all
goes well and you'll be back having fun soon. Also we wish a speedy recovery
to Paula (stress), Kurtis (kurtis), Tex (Texasdreamer), and Anne (einbua).
We hope you are all back and kicking butt soon.

On behalf of everyone that played in our Football Tourney this year, we
thank you so much for all your hard work and the gifts we received.
Everything you do for our friends is very much appreciated. Even if there
were no gifts involved, we would all still play and have tons of fun. WTG to
BoredinGeorgia2 and LuckyStaar on winning first place. Everyone came out a
winner this year. Thanks again Tex for being a great friend to us all. So
sorry about your Cowboys =(

every other Sunday.

same person 3 times per round.

Big Bux Bingo is hosted by Stress every Monday morning for you early
risers at 8:30 a.m.

Birthday Bash is hosted by Brend105 to celebrate this month's birthdays.

League vs League is hosted by LuckyStaar every month with our friends the
WINS. This is for big bux and bragging rights on both league's pages. Come
join us this sunday in Pogo Bowl to kick some butt.

We try to set tourneys ahead of time but sometimes we just can't but we
are always throwing last minute tourneys either by request or just because.
So make sure we have you Yahoo ID's so we may let you know when this
happens. Just let staff member know or add me, staarbox, to your
messenger. Also check the calendar often for last minute tourneys.

Check out our special member toolbar. You will find backdoors to all our
rooms when they are full and other helpful things. Contact klesage8 or LuckyStaar
if you have any problems. FYI The guaranteed way to get into a room that
always seems full is to put a direct link to that room on your desktop or in a
folder. To do this, go into room and click and drag the icon in the
address bar to your desktop.

Speaking of problems, there have been some that get booted out of our free
game rooms whenever there is an advertisement pop up. And people having
problems even loading the games. I don't know why or how this is happening
but I would just like to offer a few suggestions on trying to help solve this
problem to make your next tourney experience a better one.

Personally, I have had no problems at all except the occasional freeze in
Pogo.

First of all try checking out the Pogo Help section of game issues either
game play or loading. They offer some helpful hints on things to do. On a
regualr basis make sure your java is up to date at java.com . Pogo games
runs well on java so this is important. Clean out your temp files and cookies
regularly. Check your running proceses by holding down the ctrl + alt + delete
buttons and see which running process you may have running that's using
up your CPU Usage. If you don't know the names of these processes, just
google it and you will find out what that is and if you should end that process.
A major problem I have found with older computers is your Anti-Virus and Spyware programs. Since Pogo does not have a virus in it nor do
they add spyware on your computer, just turn these programs off just to
play and don't forget to turn them back on when doing other things. Make
sure you run your virus and spyware programs regularly to keep your
computers clean.
