This special newsletter is to inform you of a Bogus Email that is going around to all of Cases/MyLeague staff and their members. Someone is sending emails saying "so sorry your league is closing" or "come join this league if you want a break from your league".

These emails are a HOAX!

Cases/MyLeague have been working for months with the FBI to catch this person that is causing all kinds of havoc in the League Community. The league they are trying to recruit people for IS a real league ad because of this problem this league is now closed to new mmembers even for someone that really does wish to join this league. We are asking you to ignore this email and send a copy to a member of our staff. We will then forward your email to Cases/MyLeague to help their investigation.

Now that she's got the old ball and chain oops I mean tying the knot, we hope she'll spend more time with us and have fun. Special Tourneys

(Subject to change due to real life)

Sunday Sigles is a string of ingle Elimination Tourneys held every other Sunday and is hosted by stress.

3 Game/3 Round Bingo is hosted by Lucky every 3 Sundays a month. You play the same person 3 times per round and this tourney will go only 3 rounds.

Rank Day is Monday this month. This gives you the chance to jump the ladder twice as fast than any other day.

Big Bux Bingo is hosted by stress every Monday morning for you early risers at 8:30.

Monthly Tournaments include our Birthday Bash, Peek-a-Boo, Crack of Dawn, Trivia Lottso, Tournament of Champions, and League vs League.

We try to set tourneys as far in advance as we can. We have plenty of TD's that love to host and are willing to set at last minute so if there's a game you would like to play just give us a yell and we will host whatever game you like. Make sure our hosts have your yahoo id's so we may give you a shout when we set up a tourney for you.

TGF Toolbar

IJust want to mention a couple of things about our customized toolbar. Some people including myself are hesitant downloading anything from any site. Since our HA Kevin (klesage8) made this toolbar especially for us and I know him, I decided to download it. It's a great tool to have. Included with this special toolbar are a list of all our rooms with backdoor links to it, game rules, member pics, quick access to our message board and more.

However, my Norton Anti-Virus program didn't like it very much, it kept telling me it was spyware and would quarantine it. It drove me nuts until I realized any added exe file like a toolbar would be picked up as such. So by playing around with it I figured out how to tell Norton that it was ok. If you would like our toolbar and are having problems with it, please contact Kevin or myself (Luckystaar) and we will be more than glad to help you with it. You have our word that this toolbar is safe and contains no spyware or adware and does not store personal information.

Rooms Full?

Sometimes it's hard to get into Pogo's most popular game rooms to play in a tourney. Here are a couple of tips on how to get in. We have backdoor links on our TrueGoldFriends page and also on our toolbar. You can also find backdoor links on the MyLeague Site over on the right hand side that says play now. Sometimes it's hard to get in using even those. What works for me EVERY time is when I go to the room I click the icon in the address bar on the top of my Internet Explorer window and drag the icon to my desktop and keep it in a folder and when you click on it, it takes you directly to the room as long as you are signed into pogo.

If a room is full and many people can't get in, then the host will move that tourney into a temporary room that is not being used. Make sure you have us on your friend's list so you can see where we are at.
