It’s that time of year again for Tex’s NFL Pickem Football
Tourney. It’s a lot of fun and a great chance to win money and
prizes.
To get started all you need to do is follow the instructions
below. If you already have a yahoo account, you will sign in
using that name. But please use YOUR LEAGUE NAME to register.
This special Football Tourney is like any other tourney except
it last 17 weeks. Each week you will receive an email with
pairs. This is the person you will be playing against. Then you
log into the Pickem website and pick the teams you think will
win. The one with the most wins, wins that round. At the end of
the season the person with the most wins, wins the tourney.
Note: this also counts towards your league stats.
Avoid the rush and sign up now. If you have any questions,

IMPORTANT: ONCE YOU ARE REGISTERED, SEND AN EMAIL TO
Texasdreamer1@suddenlink.net with your league name and your
home snail mail address.
Just follow the 8 simple steps to get started.
1. Go To Yahoo Sports to Register
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem
2. Click on Join Group
3. Click on Join Existing Group
4. Select Join a Private Group
5. Enter Group ID# 4650
6. Group Password is tgf
7. Our League name is TrueGoldFriends
8. Register using your League Name
And that’s it, you are registered and all ready to go.
Now that you are registered, each week for 17 weeks here’s what
you need to do.
1. Make your picks early. You have five (5) minutes before the
start of the first game to make your picks. For most weeks, this
will be 9:55 a.m. PST on Sunday but time will change for
Thursday and Saturday games.
2. Make sure you pick for every game.
3. Each week you will receive an email with your opponent for
that week.
4. One gift will be given to the person with the most wins each
week.
5. In the event of a tie winners, Yahoo will determine winners
automatically.

CLOSEST TO THE TOTAL POINTS FOR MONDAY NIGHT'S GAME.
CLOSEST TO THE HOME TEAM POINTS FOR MONDAY NIGHT'S GAME.
CLOSEST TO THE ROAD TEAM POINTS FOR MONDAY NIGHT'S GAME.
CLOSEST TO THE TOTAL POINTS FOR SUNDAY NIGHT'S GAME.
CLOSEST TO THE HOME TEAM POINTS FOR SUNDAY NIGHT'S GAME.
CLOSEST TO THE ROAD TEAM POINTS FOR SUNDAY NIGHT'S GAME.
CLOSEST TO THE CITY WHOSE TEAM SCORES THE MOST POINTS.
CLOSEST TO THE CITY WHOSE TEAM SCORES THE FEWEST POINTS.
The person with the most wins at the end of the tour will
receive $100 in Cash. In the event of a tie, the cash will be
divided.
