Spring is here and OMG it feels like the middle of summer. We’ll just get used to it and we’ll probably get the last snow storm of the year.

Spring means a special time here at TGF. On May 8th we will be celebrating our 7th anniversary. We’ve had 7 great years of making friends and 7 great years of having fun. To celebrate this great event we will be running some special tourneys and giving away lots of prizes. We’ll work out the details and send them out in a newsletter closer to that day.

Welcome to all new members! We know you have a choice in leagues and we are very happy you can join us and if there’s anything we can do for you, just let any staff member know.

Please join me in welcoming MrsMaryLu to our staff. Mary has many years of tourneys and league experience under her belt and we are lucky to have her with us. She’s already kicking butt! Come meet Mary and see for yourself all the fun in her tourneys.

We have a few friends and staff members that have been pretty sick lately and really need your help. Please keep Skye, Stress, Howie, Crystal, Bingo, in your thoughts and prayers. I’m sure I forgot someone and I apologize for that. I’ll probably remember when I hit the send button for this newsletter. LOL! Please all get better soon.

You asked for it, we got it. We have added 2 new games to our line up, Boardwalk Sea Ball and Mahjong Gardens. If there’s a game you would like to play, just yell and we’ll see what we can do.

Our last 2 7-Day Marathons were a great success. This is the first time we had a tie for 1st place. WTG Fishy and Linda! They both won 3 months of Club Pogo. There were 14 Mix n Matches and 2 Badge Albums given to our winners. We had many friends join and it was tons of fun. A big thanks and hugs goes to Angel for hosting and to all our friends who played. Due to our May 8th celebration, we might be skipping the big marathon next month. We will let you know if that changes.

We at TrueGoldFriends are lax about a lot of things but some things we are not. We only run rules when we have new members. And when we do we try to keep them short so we don’t upset the non members in our rooms. Most rules are just your everyday basic rules. We try our hardest to start all tourneys on time to keep on schedule. However, we will wait for you if you are having problems all you have to do is send us a yahoo message so we know you are on your way. If we don’t have you on yahoo, please add me and I will share with our other host. My yahoo is staarbox.

For token count games give the last 5 numbers of your count when your name is called. Do not play between rounds. Try to post counts promptly and have fun.

For regular leader board games all must post winner / non winner. We don’t usually break between rounds so you will be instructed to continue playing. And have fun.

For Bingo type games it’s always total including jackpot spins. Don’t forget to have fun!

IMPORTANT RULE! It is against Cases / MyLeague to share your password with a staff member. It is also a big no no to jump someone other than yourself for a tourney. If there are 2 players in the same house, we will contact cases to let them know.

OK with that all said let’s get to the fun stuff. Our wonderful HA, Kevin will be going back to work soon full time. I’m afraid we won’t see him till October. He has purchased 106 the Mix and is looking for DJ’s. The wonderful staff at 106 does all the training and will help you get started. Every Wednesday night at 9:00 PM EST we have a League vs League tourney with our friends Heavenly Angels. Each week it’s a different game but with the same great people. Sometimes we give bux and sometimes we give a Mix n Match to our winner.

Starting last Saturday every month we will have a League vs League with our new friends Barrel of Fun! And boy do they live up to their name. We all had a blast, of course we won but even if we didn’t it was a barrel of fun! They are awesome!

Guess what gang? We now have more male friends. Keep your eyes open for a Battle of the Sexes soon!

Also in the near future will be a 2 vs 2 tourney, probably in Lottso and some other special fun games that we haven’t played in a very long time.

We welcome all who wish to host with your TGF friends. The pay sucks but the benefits are sure worth it! Experience is a plus but we will also train any dedicated friend who wishes to try.

How did you get your Pogo name: klesage121 was my original name when I hosted in yahoo. When I found TGF I signed up or tried to sign up with 121 but it said it was taken and I couldn’t figure out how to get back in so it was just a choice out of the blue to go with klesage8. Note from Lucky… He picked me up in the admin forum begging for help. Who knew it was going to be his lucky day when he found us! LOL!

Where you live: I live in a German settled county in Alabama called Cullman.

Hobbies outside of Pogo: Farming (no not FB Farmville either) Where there is no one fertilizing and watering for you and when you forget there is no restoring a withered plant. When it dies you are screwed.

Favorite Pogo game: Any that requires no brain activity LOL – Actually our original game Lottso, also Fortune Bingo, EWB, Vaults, Pool yes there are a lot.

Favorite game to host: I like to host any of our games I have really no favorite there except you all know I only host when someone is sleeping
